Radical agit prop ska music band from central Bristol, Spanner, have released a new album. Fresh from their triumphant slot at a fundraising night for Anti-Fascist groups at The Red Lion in the Redfield area of the city, the band has named it's album “We Won't Be Stopped”. The title reflects the infectious beats of the music, and the fact that action is needed against the threats to all democracies and peaceful progressive societies by reactionaries and religious extremists. Spanner's releases can be purchased from Specialist Subject Records online, or if you are in Bristol, at their shop above the Exchange Vegetarian Cafe Bar on Old Market Street, in the gay village area. The shop also sells queer and militant LGBT, feminist and underground fanzines as well as rriot girl and queercore genres of postpunk music.
