Did Gay Celebrity Scott Mills Suspect His Downfall Would Come?

Scott Mills, the popular BBC Radio and television presenter, and for the last year, the chief morning announcer on the UK' most listened to radio show on BBC Radio 2, may have suspected that his career might be over. Mr Mills was ten years ago interviewed about very historical allegations of sexual abuse against a teen male, but crucially, no threshold of credible evidence was ever recorded by the Crown Prosecution Service. Nevertheless, he may have suspected that his career might come to a sudden end as institutions purge themselves of any hint of wrongdoing. According to journalist Ed Gleave, the famous broadcaster, who has been out as gay for most of his career, had fears his fame might be brought to a swift end. Speaking on controversial talk network GB News, Gleave said: “I interviewed him about six weeks ago at an event and we were talking about the different reality shows he’s doing and has done in the past. “He said he takes every opportunity because he wants to make the most of his career, and he said, you just don’t know when it’s gonna end". That premonition now appears to have come true.
