Bristol Bookshop Hosts Celebration of "Unapologetically Queer" Novel

The local independent bookstore for the Bedminster area of Bristol. Storysmith, has teamed up with the Cube Cinemal complex to showcase queer novel The Silver Book by Oliva Laing. The organisers report: "80% of tickets for our event with Olivia Laing have gone, which means you don't have long to get yours. Allow us to remind you of what's happening: 


- Cultural behemoth Olivia Laing live in conversation about their most recent novel (and Storysmith's Book of the Year 2025), The Silver Book


- Get your books signed by Olivia and fill in the gaps in your collection


- Followed by a screening of Federico Fellini's Cinecittà classic from 1976, Casanova!


- All in the beautiful surroundings of the finest independent cinema imaginable, the Cube Microplex

The book discussion and movie screening of Fellini's Casanova is on the evening of Wednesday 17th June at 6.30pm
