As we have often reported in the past, the queer movement frequently stands in solidarity with the body acceptance movement. There are several new community LGBT+ flags that have been proposed at the blog Fatphobia Busters. https://www.tumblr.com/fatphobiabusters

One design relates to KIWIs - defined as gay people who are chubby and hairy, and the Pride flag consisting of progressive light green to mid brown stripes. It was developed by Tumblr blogger foxdevilaki.

Also on the web is blogger nepstiel's Seal Pride flag. A seal is defined as "individuals who are chubby and hairy, but due to some factor (like albinism or light hair) dont appear hairy." The flag consists of six even horizontal stripes. The colors from top to bottom are whitre, off-whire, light grey, purple-ish dark grey, dark grey, and grey. On the top left is a symbol of a seal colored purple-ish dark grey.

Will these identity flags take off? Does it even matter as long as we all support each other regardless of what part of the rainbow spectrum we fall under? You decide.
