In a press release, The Views Room invite delegates to the Older LGBT People's Event taking place in Welwyn Garden City.

Older Queer Voices is delighted to invite you to the Older Queer Voices Festival, an extraordinary evening celebrating the stories, resilience, and contributions of older LGBTQ+ people, in partnership with Tesco, Booker and Best Food Logistics and N20.

This is a rare opportunity to honour and network with the generations that paved the way while creating an intergenerational platform to inspire and connect communities.

The evening will feature

• A special performance by Clare Summerskill (She/Her)

• Keynote address by Lisa Power (She/Her): LGBT+ Rights Campaigner

• Live podcast recording hosted by Raga D’silva (She/Her): 

Theme - Bridging Generations: Celebrating Older Queer Voices, with,

• Jason Patel (He/Him): Actor, singer, and model, known for the movie Unicorns
• Liz Carr (She/Her): Actor and Activist, known for her long term role in Silent Witness
• Sue Sanders (She/Her): Founder, LGBT+ History Month
• Dan Porter(He/Him): Head of Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing, Chair LGBTQ+ Network Tesco

• Recognition of 10 Older Queer Icons for their lasting impact

• Networking over Drinks and Grazing Buffet.
