Autumn Meets for New Age Radical Faeries

26/11/2024

The Radical Faerie movement of Albion says that as the shadows lengthen and the veil between the worlds is thinned, this October, the spiritual group for LGBTQIA+ people will be making the most of the magical and mystical Autumn.  They say "Calling all Radical Faeries, Queer Spirits, Gay Witches, Faggot Farmers, Drag Druids, Walkers-Between-and-Beyond-Worlds, Ritual Diva Queens, Long-Time Heart Circlers, Fae Newbies, Wild Womxn, New-age and Old-age Enbies, Pagan Pansies, Lesbian Lightworkers, Transgender Priestexes, Queer Eco-Goddesses, Gender Fuckers, Shape Shifters, and Whoever Else You May Be .. Starting just before the Annular Solar Eclipse, New Moon in Libra, We gather for an Autumnal radical faerie retreat, taking time within, giving time to ourselves while held in the loving embrace of our magical community.                                                 Through Meditation, Heart circles, Journeying, Drumming, Dance, Art and Ritual, we will share a 10 day (9 night) gathering of exploration, discovery and healing.  The Love and Healing Retreat runs from 1st to 10th October.  Then, in honour of the traditional pagan festival of Samhain (Hallowe'en), there is a Samhain Xtatic Gathering from 12th to 22nd October.  The events will take place at Featherstone Castle in Northumberland.    Featherstone Castle lies in the stunning Northumberland countryside. The Castle is vast and atmospheric with real fires, cosy rooms for heart circles, a magnificent ballroom for dancing, mysterious nooks and crannies, a drag space and an excellent kitchen. Featherstone Castle is near to Hadrian’s Wall and close to Haltwhistle, centre of the sacred Isle of Albion.  If all this sounds an absolutely wonderful way to spend Autumn, then find out more at   https://albionfaeries.org.uk/
