Cross dressing artist and national treasure, Sir Grayson Perry, will co host the Sky Arts Awards on Tuesday 13th October, alongside Rebecca Lucy Taylor, who is known as Self Esteem. The event takes place at the Roundhouse in London and will be televised that evening by the Sky Arts Television channel (Freeview Channel 36).

The awards celebrate the broad cultural spectrum across the UK and Ireland, covering genres such as:

• Classical music, comedy, and dance

• Film, literature, opera, and poetry

• Popular music, television, theatre, and visual arts

• Special honors including The Times Breakthrough Award, The Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Arts Hero Award.

Sir Grayson, known for his art work and cultural criticism, often appears as his female alter ego Claire, and indeed appears cross dressing in the promotions for the Arts Awards currently being aired across the Sky Television portfolio of channels.
