If we uphold your complaint, we will take appropriate action and confirm what we have done. If we do not uphold your complaint, we will explain our reasoning and provide evidence where possible.
If you are not satisfied with our response, or if we do not respond within the timeframes above, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent data protection regulator.

To help us investigate your complaint effectively, we may need to verify your identity and ask for additional information. We will only ask for what is reasonably necessary and proportionate to the investigation.
Making a data protection complaint will not affect your relationship with ShoutOut LGBT+ Radio in any way. You will not be treated unfavourably for exercising your data protection rights.
We will review this procedure periodically and update it as needed to reflect changes in data protection law or our practices.
