LGBTQIA Pagans and followers of nature based religions have been celebrating the Autumnal Equinox in the northern hemisphere - a feast sometimes called Mabon.

Mixcloud trans DJ Lydia Violet reports that the Equinox fell during the small hours of Wednesday 23rd September this year. The gay and bisexual male religion of Antinous, established by the grieving Emperor Hadrian in the second century, says "We regard the September Equinox (Autumnal in the Northern Hemisphere and Vernal in the Southern Hemisphere) as the SACRED STAG HUNT in which Antinous spiritually pursues the magic stag through the spiritual forest ... the stag representing the male god force within us. " For New England based witch Jasmeine Moonsong, Mabon ushers in the season of the witch, and will see the veil between the worlds grow thinner until the great festival of Hallowe'en or Samhain, at the end of October.

The Queer Spirit organisation, which is a loosely affiliated group promoting spiritual practices within the LGBTQ communities, says that they have ritual drumming circles planned in the greater London area starting this Friday, 25th September, and carrying on once a month to the Winter Solstice celebrations on 20th December.  Read more about the drum circle - https://rainbowmessenger.blog/queer-spirit-circle/
