Trans Feminist Futures Discussion in Bristol

Trans Feminist Futures Discussion in Bristol

In a hotly awaited press release, East Bristol Books, located in the heart of Bristol's gay village of independent bars and shops, is hosting a night of transinclusive abolitionist feminism. The owners of the shop report, "Friday 17 April: Trans Femme Futures with Nat Raha and Mijke Van der Drift. The revolution is nothing if not rooted in queer collective care! Trans Femme Futures proposes a vision for radical liberation via transfeminist abolitionism. EBB hosts the authors for a critical discussion on how everyday actions can drive social change in the face of austerity and global upheaval." Tickets for this event cost six pounds and can be purchased on the Bristol Headfirst nightlife portal.

The organisers conclude "We hope to see you at one of these, or at something else soon (the summer is starting to fill up). Stay tuned for more on these as they approach." For further information call East Bristol Books on eastbristolbooks [at] gmail.com.
