Tubi’s Free Pride Merchandise Sells Out Within Hours

Streaming service Tubi celebrated Pride Month with a free merchandise drop that went viral — featuring slogan T-shirts, a jockstrap and a bright yellow harness — and sold out within hours. Then a second batch sold out again almost immediately.

The collection was designed by Cole Poska, a creative director who shared the range on Instagram. It launched at ProudTubiGay.com, with items available for free (just pay shipping). The range included T-shirts with slogans including “Proud Tubi Gay”, “I got my A$$ ate while watching a Tubi original”, and “You can watch for free”, alongside a purple jockstrap with the word “FREE” on its waistband and a yellow Tubi-branded harness.

The first batch launched last week and was “snapped up within hours.” On 24th June, Tubi issued another drop — and it “flew off the digital racks almost immediately.” Social media quickly filled with posts from people frustrated at missing out and calling for better notifications on future drops.

Some online observers noted the irony that Tubi is owned by Fox Corporation, which also owns Fox News. But as one comment put it: if Fox are paying for free Pride harnesses, nobody seems to be complaining.

Tubi is a free, ad-supported streaming platform available in multiple markets including the UK. It has built a reputation for its catalogue of deep cuts, low-budget genre films, and so-bad-it’s-good viewing — making it a favourite for meme culture on social media
