Out to Lunch, a food themed web podcast hosted by Jay Rayner had as guest the inimitable Stephen Fry this week. According to the Independent, Mr Fry chatted about mental health, of course food, but also spoke about being an out gay man. Despite being one of Britain’s national institutions, a much loved and witty raconteur, Mr Fry has also been subject to homophobic abuse, most notably being accosted by a deranged thuggish man at a football ground.
