US based low cost gym chain Planet Fitness has been urged to remain firm despite being targetted by bomb threats from deranged far right transphobes. The extremists began to target the chain after it barred a customer who violated the company's mobile phone regulations by posting illegal footage of a person she assumed was transgender getting ready in the changing room. In addition, Planet Fitness explained their action by saying "“As the home of the Judgement Free Zone, Planet Fitness is committed to creating an inclusive environment. Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use the gym facilities that best align with their sincere, self-reported gender identity. The member who posted on social media violated our mobile device policy that prohibits taking photos of individuals in the locker room, which resulted in their membership being terminated.” US based LGBT+ newswire Them.us reports that seventeen Planet Fitness gyms experienced bomb threats from demented right wingers, stirred up by hate groups online such as the notorious Libs of Tik Tok. LGBTQIA People are being encouraged to show support for Planet Fitness by using the gym for their exercise needs.
