Julian Clary Hosts Festive Ad Feast

Christmas Television commercials are a part of the run up to the festive period. They are frequently somewhat schmalzy and saccharine, but they do capture a lot of people's fantasies about the Christmas week. Millions of pounds is spent every year on tugging at our heartstrings and getting us to choose one brand or another as we plan our Christmas shopping. Well, love them or loathe them, Christmas Commercials are a part of our shared culture landscape. On Saturday 14th December, gay wit and camp humourist Julian Clary will be providing his usual wry look at this cultural phenomenon as Channel Five Television counts down our favourite festive TV commercials.
