Your Skipton Radio in the Northern English town reports that a successful day for young learners was held at Skipton Town Hall to mark Pride Month on 19th June. The session was dedicated to embracing the spirit of Pride and respecting and valuing differences and similarities between people. In a press release, the day organisers said that they explored the importance of kindness, acceptance, respect, and appreciating the uniqueness of every individual including ourselves. They added "we aim to foster a sense of wonder and appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. By engaging in hands-on activities, our little ones will develop a deeper understanding of different cultures, traditions, and artistic expressions from around the world." Wikipedia adds "Skipton (also known as Skipton-in-Craven) is a market town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. Historically in the East Division of Staincliffe Wapentake in the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is on the River Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to the south of the Yorkshire Dales."
