LGBTQ Vegetarians and Vegans will be interested in the results of the International Vegan Awards, co-ordinated by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. BAME newspaper the Voice reports that London's “Eat of Eden”, an African-Caribbean owned restaurant, has scooped an award for the best Mac and Cheese in the capital. One in five British people have reported reducing their meat consumption in the wake of the Covid19 pandemic, with many concluding that it has been the human treatment of animals and trade in exotic species which contributed to the development of cross species viral transfer. The oven-baked pasta pie with a rich cheesy flavour is available to eat in and for delivery from Eat on Eden's four London locations in Brixton, Clapham, Lewisham, and Shepherd’s Bush. You can view the full results of the Vegan Awards at the website of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals in the United Kingdom which is at peta.org.uk.
