LGBT+ Muslims Send Eid Greetings

Progressive Muslims and LGBTQIA Muslims have been sending their best wishes for the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr which began on Wednesday evening.  Eid marks the end of the lunar month of fasting and charitable works, known as Ramadan. Among the organisations sending wishes are Muslims for Progressive Values and Hidayah LGBT.   Celebrations are held with large meals for family and friends and thanks are given for enabling people to undertake the month of daylight fasting.  We wish all our listeners who are marking it, an Eid Mubarak.
