Gay Journalist Owen Quits Labour Over Gaza

Gay journalist and left wing theorist Owen Jones has said that he is to leave the Labour Party and its LGBT Labour Group, over what he said was the party's "race to the bottom" policies that force "thousands of kids into poverty and hardship".  In a hard hitting attack on the moderate Labour leadership, Mr Jones said " Labour are going to keep the same ruinous policies which trashed this country. "It will be more austerity and more worshipping at the feet of the rich and powerful." In his video he accused Labour of "using the same economically illiterate phrases and arguments" as the Tories. And he attacked Mr Starmer over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which he branded "the great crime of our age".
