Anyone with an interest in women's history and literature, is sure to enjoy a documentary going out on BBC-4 Television late on Tuesday evening / Wednesday early morning 19th / 20th March. “The Lost Manuscript” looks at the search for the writings of Julian of Norwich, a medieval woman whose texts are believed to be the oldest in the developing English language penned by a female. BBC-4 is available at Channel No. 9 on Freeview as well as on cable and satellite packages.
