Irish Minister Comes Out to Support and Love

17/02/2024

DNA Magazine reports that Irish government minister Jack Chambers, who is a Fianna Fail Party TD (that is, Member of the Irish Parliament), has come out as gay.  He said that it was just part of what made him unique.   Mr Chambers has served as a Minister Of State since July 2020. He has a minister in various departments including Finance, Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport And Media, and Defence, with his current position being in Transport.  DNA Magazine notes that Ireland has made major strides in recent years to become a liberal internationalist society whilst retaining its own unique heritage.  At the end of his coming out post, Mr Cambers says: “I’m looking forward to a busy, productive and hard working year ahead as a TD for Dublin West along with my Ministerial responsibilities and helping colleagues across the country as Fianna Fáil’s Director of Local Elections 2024.”
