Charlatans' lead singer pays tribute to Pete

Tim Burgess of the Charlatans has given his own tribute to bisexual singer Pete Shelley, whose band the Buzzcocks was massively influential on the punk rock and subsequent new wave explosions at the end of the seventies. He said “"Pete Shelley wrote perfect three minute pop songs. The soundtrack to being a teenager. You’ll be missed Pete but you’ll be remembered for a long long time for your brilliant music.
