Big Queer Picnic Shows What Community Is

LGBTQIA newswire Pink News reports that a new initiative called The Big Queer Picnic is engaging hundreds of LGBTQIA+ people.  Abi Smith appealed on social media for more LGBT+ friends and said that she would love to have a picnic with anyone who wanted to join her.  She says "around 400 queers turned up to show me what community was".  Abi has organised through Instagram, and her page also includes grass roots initiatives such as community parties and online chats.  https://linktr.ee/abism_th
