In Bristol, LGBTQIA+ friendly retailers, both corporate and independent, have been flying flags and showcasing products for the rainbow communities. HMV have a strong queer branded presence through the year, and for Pride season have reinvigorated their Pride films selection, showcasing both classic and recent releases from such LGBTQIA studios as Peccadillo and TLA Releasing. Not to be outdone, the large independent record shop Rough Trade has a wide selection of LGBTQIA+ history books, novels and cultural titles available in an extensive series of displays. Other shops that we have noted taking part in Pride with displays, include Waterstones, Foyles, Excelsior Independent Comics, Tesco Metro, the People's Republic of Stokes Croft Shop, St Peter's Hospice Charity Shops and our own gay branded store Prowler on Bond Street.
