Set in the ‘Inbetween’, somewhere between our world and the next, Dial One for Revenge is an LGTBQ+ Young Adult novel where the afterlife is a bureau- cratic civil service of murdered teens who are contractually obliged to reap vengeance on the living. Fifteen year-old Cassie knows she and her mother were both murdered but not by who. She is now a caseworker who portals into the living world to exact a series of revenges under the stewardship of a Board made up of the Seven Deadly Sins and a management team descended from the Goddess, Nemesis. Cassie has to work one hundred cases before she can have what she desires most — the name of her killer. Her life ended just as she was coming out, missing the chance to attend her first Pride or experience her first kiss. Dial One for Revenge is about grief, anger and loss, but it is also about love-after-death, and rediscovering who you really are.
