Tik Tok Takes Down 90 Million Toxic Videos

02/03/2021

Capital Radio UK says that the new social media giant TikTok has admitted it has taken down ninety million videos in the last six months, for violating its community standards and safeguarding policies.  Some of the removed content is believed to be homophobic and racist.  Critics say that social media platforms are failing to adequately respond to hate groups and organisations making use of their online space.
