Queer Foodies of the World Unite and Fight!

Here's something that will be of interest to the many people from the LGBTQ Communities in the United States who work in the food industries, perhaps as waiting staff, or chefs, or designers of dishes or who work behind the scenes at restaurants and fast food joints. The Queer Food Foundation is on a mission to in its words, “allows for open discovery, education, and comfortability. This leaves room for exploration in the kitchen, the perpetuation of queer culinary performance, and food-, culture-, and skill-sharing”. Current projects include a media current to examine LGBTQIA experience through the food media, A Queer Food database of friendly cafes and restaurants across the US, and plans for events at which people can network and share ideas.
