Psychological Warfare On Russia's Young

Radio Free Europe, the famous pro-democracy broadcaster in Eastern Europe, immortalised in a song by REM, says that psychological warfare by the Russian government is being waged against the country's young people, as the pro-Putin state tries to quell resistance to his rule and shore up what many sociologists characterise as a kleptocratic government. Radio Free Europe says that dissidents, which include former communists, independent trade unions, student activists, and of course LGBT people, are being characterised as pro-Ukranian fascists and against the interests of Russia.
