Atheist web magazine the Freethinker reports that the usual suspects are up in arms after a progressive Portland based ice cream manufacturer, which donates part of its profits to radical and feminist causes, launched a pop up ice cream flavour which donates profits to NARAL, a grass roots initiative that advocates for abortion care and works to elect pro-choice officials. Barry Duke, correspondent for the Freethinker, reported that fundamentalists have been fulminating at the flavour, which was available for ten days at the end of August. NARAL reports that much needed funds have been raised by the kind profit sharing policies of the ice cream manufacturer, to whose website we have linked via our own.
