LGBT activists have long maintained that homophobes are insane, violent and cruel, and consititute a threat not just to gay and trans people, but also to heterosexual and cisgender people who don't agree with their agenda. So, it comes as little surprise that gay newswires in Australia are reporting that a young mother called Bec Spiteri, who has a rainbow flag on her property to express her support for gay friends, has received hate mail threatening her young children. It seems that anti-gay extremists think nothing of hurting children in their crusade against equality. However, Spiteri is not to be beaten. She has CCTV round her house and has clear footage of an angry man leaving his hate mail on her property. The Police are closing in on the perpetrator.
