Tylwyth is a play that was running in theatres across Wales in the run up to the Coronavirus lockdown. It’s a story of gay love in contemporary Wales and is proudly delivered in the Welsh language. Y Lolfa, the respected Welsh publisher based at Tal-y-Bont, has made the script available for all fans of gay theatre and Welsh literature. The story follows a couple, Aneurin and Dan. Aneurin has been trying to escape his past, but in an unexpected turn of events, thanks to Grindr – he has fallen in love. When he and Dan decide to adopt a child, they're both completely content. But as he adjusts to life as a father, and turning his back on his wild past, Aneurin's darkest fears return. The story is by Daf Jones, one of the most celebrated voices in the contemporary Welsh literature scene. You can order a copy through any good bookstore or direct from the publishers, at Ylolfa.com.
