Sports Fans Fight Back after Phobic Attack

24/12/2017

And it's great to have some sports news, particularly as we look at teams fighting for diversity and inclusion. After one of its members needed stitches after an assault by heterosexual men, Argentine rugby team Ciervas Pampas, launched a high profile media campaign to raise awareness of hate crime and held a rally to protest homophobia. The team have support across minority communities and in the LGBT movement and many loyal fans through their principled stance. All Bristol and West Country teams, take note!
