London Frontrunners, who organise the annual 10 kilometer Pride Run to raise funds for a wide variety of LGBTQ charities, have taken the decision to defer the run in 2020 and look ahead to next year instead. In a press release they say: “The safety of runners, volunteers, and spectators is our number one priority. As a large scale event, coronavirus unfortunately presents a number of challenges.....Thank you for your ongoing support for the Pride Run. We will be back on 2021!” In the meantime, a community gathering to replace the Run will be taking place in August, as people also look ahead to a bigger, more visible and better than ever event in 2021. Meanwhile, if you are in the capital area, don't forget that London Frontrunners are is an inclusive running and triathlon club for lesbians, gay and bisexual men and women, trans people and our allies.
