Progressive Christians Meet to Discuss Bible

The Progressive Christianity Network UK, which has long been an ally of LGBTQIA people in the Church, says that it has an event at Tavistock in Devon on 22nd September. Their Tavistock Progressive Christianity Group will be looking at “Uppity Women of the Bible”, focussing on the story of Ruth. There will be a showing of a DVD presentation with Doctor Lisa Wolfe which will look at the position of women in Biblical times.
