Local Group Takes on Holocaust Denial

The South West Jewish Cultural Group, DAVAR, has published its programme of events for the Autumn. Meeting in Bristol and open to all, the highlight of its Autumn programme will be a screening of the new movie starring Rachel Weiz as historian Deborah Lipstadt. In 1986, Lipstadt was sued by holocaust denier David Irving, and Lipstadt assembled a massive wealth of evidence to prove that there was truth in the Nazi persecution of Jews and other groups including gay men and gender non-conformist people.
