Queerty, which is a leading LGBTQ news and features blog from the United States reports on the case of Nikole Mitchell, a Minnesota based former evangelical Christian who rose through the ranks of a deeply homophobic and transphobic church, called the Woodlands Hill Church during the last decade. However, in 2016, she saw a play which had a gay theme and realised that she was not entirely heterosexual. Ms Mitchell has since come out and left the fundamentalist church life behind. She also decided to fulfil a long term ambition that had never been realised beforehand. She gained tattoos, moved to liberal Los Angeles and became a sexually liberated activist, launching her own porn website and taking pole dancing classes. “Every person has the right to express themselves in whatever way feels good to them and this is how it feels good to me,” she says.
