The Gay and Lesbian Vaishnava Association is an international network representing the needs and interests of LGBTQ Hindus and vaishnavas, including followers of Krishna Consiousness. Hinduism is the oldest continuously practiced religion in the world, and dates from the earliest settlements in the Indus valley, if not before. It is characterized, in the words of the Bristol Hindu Temple, as a religion of feasts and festivals.
