Coles on Loneliness and Community

25/06/2021

The Reverend Richard Coles, gay Church of England minister and frequent contributor to radio and television, was a guest on BBC Radio 2's late night health programme on Sunday evening. Reverend Coles was discussing the problems of loneliness and lack of human contact in British society generally and particular after the rigours of more than a year of coronavirus lockdown. He said that in his congregation, whilst being mindful of official guidance, he offered as much human contact to parishoners as he could, and reflected on the importance of togetherness for human happiness.
