Joy as Anti-LGBT Protest Falls Flat on Face

The BBC News Channel reported that the latest attempt by far right wing groups to organise against LGBTQIA people In London had fallen flat on its face when a desultory fourteen extremists showed up to a drag queen performance that wasn’t even happening.  As the US Newswire LGBTQ Nation notes “Even better, they were overwhelmed by nearly 150 pro-LGBTQ+ counterprotesters.”  The pro-LGBTQ+ contingent carried signs stating, “Don’t let the far right divide us: Defend LGBTQ+ communities” and “Smash fascism and racism by any means necessary.” Its members also chanted “Fascist scum off the streets!” and “Cheerio!” over a megaphone as the far right protestors eventually walked away from the bar.
