The road to equality is international, and sometimes can seem a tall order. But ILGA Europe has our backs. The network, whose acronym originally meant International Lesbian and Gay Association has some clout within the European Union and at the United Nations, in the teeth of opposition from homophobic and transphobic governments. From 25th to 29th October, the ILGA-Europe Gathering will take place online. Aimed at activists from Europe and Central Asia, and allies in NGOs and other organisations, the programme of workshops, networking and lectures will address Resilience in the face of populism and growing opposition and Racism, structural inequalities and socioeconomic justice.
