Abortion Rights Groups Rally Over Texas

Abortion Rights UK, a national campaign organisation which welcomes people of backgrounds who are opposed to efforts by church or state authorities to restrict a woman's right to choose abortion, say that they are protesting outside the US Embassy on Saturday 2nd October, with the message being “Solidarity with Choice in Texas”. The Texas legislature is about to enact legislation that women's rights activists feel will severely curtail the right to choose and is being driven by an alliance between anti-feminist Republicans and the church right wing. Assembly is at 12noon on 2nd and the demonstration will march to the US Embassy on Grosvenor Square. All are welcome who support abortion rights.
