Andrew Marr Considers Social Changes on TV

03/12/2020

On Thursday evening, The New Elizabethans is a documentary programme launching at 9pm on BBC-2. Hosted by Andrew Marr, the first show will consider the immense changes that have taken place in the UK with regard to women, BAME and LGBTQ people, towards gender and sexual expression. Looks to be an interesting look at how activists challenged the status quo, and the backlash they faced (and in case still continue to face). BBC-2 is a primary TV channel in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and is available on many platforms.
