March will Mark 40 Years of THT Organisation

04/09/2022

October the 1st will see many groups come together to commemorate the 40t anniversary of the Terrence Higgins Trust. A march starting at London's Belvedere Road, opposite St Thomas Hospital, will follow a route to Trafalgar Square where there will be a choir, speeches and a vigil.  THT is today the UK’s largest sexual health charity, but it has not forgotten its radical roots as a gay led group in 1982.  The march will be a chance to reflect on how far things have changed, and how much further there is still is to go, in the struggle against HIV and against prejudice and bigotry.
