HIV Living Spaces Celebrate Resilience

11/02/2021

Independent newspaper B247 reports that a collaboration between the University of Bristol, the Bristol Photo Festival and HIV activists will see a visual documentary project investigate how living rooms are organised by people living with HIV in the city. Led by Doctor Adrian Flint and documentary photographer Mareike Günsche, the project is aimed at giving greater visibility to people living with HIV at a time when many illnesses have taken second place to Covid, and when the issue of HIV has fallen off the public discourse radar to some extent. The project will focus on how living spaces are curated to better mental wellbeing of those in the community.
