Brian May Speaks Candidly About Mercury

26/05/2017

Talented guitarist and polymath Brian May from the rock band Queen, has opened up for the first time to the press about his late bandmate Freddie Mercury, the flamboyant gay pop star who passed away from and AIDS related illness twenty five and a half years ago. May said that Freddie lost his foot in the months leading up to his untimely death at the age of just forty five. He also speculated that Freddie might have survived if anti-HIV retroviral therapies were just a few months sooner in being discovered. Brian May was talking in the Sunday Times magazine.
