LGBTQ allies Little Mix and Beverly Knight are due to appear over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend on the network of forty or so BBC Local Radio stations as they relate inspiring stories of people who have recovered from the Covid19 coronavirus to have a “second chance” at life. With an appropriate theme for the Easter Holidays, the networked content will go out across BBC local stations including Radio Bristol, Radio Somerset and Radio Gloucestershire at 9am on Good Friday, Bank Holiday Monday and Easter Tuesday. Little Mix and Beverly Knight have a long standing history of supporting the LGBTQ communities and many people will want to tune in to return the favour. Ms Knight in particular, has campaigned against bigoted lyrics in popular music and today releases tracks on her own label, underlining her great independence and determination to do things her way.
