The Radio Times goes rainbow for its issue on sale now, giving listings for the week that includes the fiftieth anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of male homosexuality, back in the Summer of Love. Mark Gatiss has been asked to guest edit the popular listings magazine, with the result that it has a distinctly LGBT feel to it, and covers the listings on radio and TV that deal with the fiftieth anniversary. Sky Arts, BBC, Channel Four and other broadcasters are taking part in the celebrations for the fiftieth anniversary. LGBT people are encouraged by some bloggers to make a point of buying the Radio Times this week to express support for its decision to include a gay guest editor and to mark the fiftieth anniversary week.
