Phobes Get Angry at Established Floyd Logo

28/01/2023

It has long been a contention of LGBTQIA+ advocates that homophobes are profoundly stupid, ignorant and unable to control their violent impulses. Well, according to the New Musical Express online, Pink Floyd fans have been pointing out the bizarre criticisms of the legendary progressive rock band as they mark the fiftieth anniversary of their celebrated album “Dark Side of the Moon”, released in March 1973. The famous album’s artwork includes a prism splitting white light into its rainbow of constituent colours. As gay actor George Takei noted, this was enough to prompt “peak MAGA igonrance” as homophobes attempted to orchestrate criticism of the band. One fan of the group noted ““You know you’re homophobic when you get mad at the rainbow that has always been Pink Floyd’s logo. It shines out of the triangle; represents the start of life and all the paths taken and influences over a lifetime.”
