VV Brown writes for the black British newspaper The Voice and pulls no punches as they lay into GB News, the new television news network. Even before its launch last weekend, the new channel had raised eyebrows with its promise to be anti-woke, which many people saw as a code for being anti-gay and anti-black. Now VV Brown writes that the new channel reveals itself to be just a bunch of old white men moaning about how they are the new oppressed, whilst retaining their Imperialist power. Brown writes “when a slogan in a national newspaper, headlines “GB News pledges to do news differently; pro-British and anti-woke” it seems like ‘fascist’ propaganda. It becomes an issue that is deeper than the right of our opinion. It becomes a subject matter that denies the human rights of individuals. “.
