Heavy Metal Legend Rob Sends Love to Ukraine

The New Musical Express website and radio channels have reported that Rob Halford, the gay hero lead singer of legendary and groundbreaking heavy metal band Judas Priest, has issued special greetings to heavy metal fans in the Ukraine. Mr Halford issued a message on his social media channels saying “I’m sending you all of my love, all of my strength, all of my power to each and every one of you. I love you so much. Slava Ukraini (English: ‘Glory to Ukraine’). Stay strong, stay heavy, stay metal. Oh, yeah!” Judas Priest, whose albums including 1977’s “British Steel” set the pace for heavy metal music through the eighties and nineties, are to tour Europe with Black Sabbath’s Ozzy Osbourne in 2023.
