Elton's Great AIDS Fundraiser and "Closet"

Album rock radio network Radio Caroline reports that it was on this weekend in 2006 that a sale of clothes belonging to Sir Elton John raised more than seven hundred thousand dollars for the gay singer’s much loved AIDS alleviation charity. A specially convened shop at the Rockerfeller Centre in New York hosts a pop up shop called “Elton’s Closet”.
